Agafay is the closest desert landscape to Marrakech — bare hills, dry river beds and the Atlas range on the skyline. Riding it on horseback is a very different experience from a camel: the pace is quicker, you cover more ground, and you can pick lines across the open ground rather than following a single track.
We collect you from your accommodation in Marrakech, drive out to the stables in Agafay, and match the ride to what you tell us about your riding experience. You then sit down to a traditional Moroccan lunch before the drive back.
Two ride lengths are available on the same experience: one hour, which suits families and first-time riders, and two hours for people who ride at home and want more time in the saddle.
